Mid-Atlantic Truck Authority (“MATA”) is an online marketplace that allows vehicle buyers and sellers to connect. MATA does not own, inspect, buy, sell, broker, or guarantee any vehicles listed on the platform.
No Vehicle Verification
All listings are created and managed solely by individual sellers or dealerships. Vehicle information—including price, condition, mileage, availability, and descriptions—is provided by the seller and is not verified by MATA. Buyers are responsible for confirming all details directly with the seller before making a purchase.
No Transactions or Payments
MATA does not handle vehicle payments, deposits, financing, titles, or transfers of ownership. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers, outside of the MATA platform.
No Warranty or Guarantee
MATA makes no warranties or representations regarding vehicle condition, seller legitimacy, accuracy of listings, or the outcome of any transaction. All vehicles are listed “as-is” unless otherwise stated by the seller.
No Liability
MATA is not responsible for any loss, damage, dispute, injury, or claim arising from vehicle purchases or sales, communications between buyers and sellers, in-person meetings, test drives, or misrepresentation by any party.
User Responsibility
Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for conducting due diligence, verifying vehicle information, and complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect vehicles in person and use secure payment methods.
Platform Availability
MATA reserves the right to suspend, remove listings or accounts at any time to maintain platform integrity and compliance.
